Instagram TV : How to create your channel !

Instagram just launched a new video service called IGTV, bringing long duration content to the platform. Previously users could only share videos of up to 60 seconds. The new app is designed to change that. This app is available on both Android and iOS & it allows users to post videos of up to 1-hour duration. This creates a huge potential for content creators to share longer videos on the platform. If you've installed the IGTV app, then you might want to create your own channel, & start creating some videos. Heres a guide to creating your own channel on IGTV.

First, install the IGTV app. For using this app you should have an Instagram account. If you have one then log in using the same on IGTV app. When you are in the app, tap on settings gear icon. This will take you to a menu where you can tap on Create Channel option. Now the app will take you through a couple of basics for the videos. These videos are vertical and specially made for portrait mode watching. Just tap on Next till you find to
create a channel. Your IGTV channel will now be active and will use your existing Instagram handle to create it. You can tap on view channel and start uploading.

You can also create your channel through the Instagram app. You just have to tap on the IGTV app icon present in the top right corner of the app. But you should have the latest version of the Instagram app to do so.
